Seventeen Cheek Stamp Blush

Hey Everyone.

I went to the local Fort, which has a load of shops, I only went to browse, but I ended up splurging some more money on Beauty things.
The first of that, is this little beauty, the Seventeen cheek stamp blush. It cost £4.99 and it comes in five different colours. You can buy them in boots. I got the colour stare struck, which is lovely dusty rose colour with some sparkle.
To get the blush on, you use the applicator that, it comes with. You open it up and sort of stamp it into the lid that has the colour in it. You then dot it on your cheek and blend. The packaging is cute and the same sort of colour the blush is, it also has a small mirror, but it only says the shade name on the box.

I am in love with with concept of blush, it will most defo take pride of place in my day to day make up. You could also use a brush with this blush, but I do love the novel way of putting blush on. I do plan on buying more colours and hope Seventeen bring more colours out in this range.

Glitter Liners

Hey Guys,

I was going to wait until I done a few themed weeks, one being all about the eyes. But I have decided that it just could not wait.

As a girl, I can be prone to be a bit of a magpie when it comes to glitter, so when I found out that Collection had a line of glitter eye liner I had to check them out. Although I do remember when they first came out a while back, they released only a few colours. Now they have a lot of colours, near enough 10 shades I think.
So whilst out a couple of days ago, I decided to pick one up, as I had watched a youtube video, where they are being duped for the Urban Decay heavy metal glitter liners.
As I have a few really old Urban Decay liners, I thought I would do a little review on both of them and I also found a 17, starry eyes glitter liner.

The Urban Decay, Heavy Metal liner £13-£14 get them here
I got these in a set of 3 quite a while back for Christmas, although I can only find 2 of them. I have Baked which is a bronze glitter and Stage Dive which is a lovely green colour. These dry quickly and I used to love putting these on top of a black eyeline to give a cat eye look extra ooomph. As these have a clear base to them, they can go on anything really. They do have a gorgeous range of colours, everything from pinks and purples to golds and silvers.

The Collection Glam Crystals are around £2.98-£2.99 buy here
There are around 10-12 shades in this line, I found that Asdas instore had a lot more shades than anywhere else. I have the shade Va va voom, which is a pink, green and it has a hint of gold and silver in a clear base. This looks amazing with a cat eye, this is by far my favourite shade. It dries quickly and stays put. The shades range again from pinks and purples to mixed colours and silvers, golds.

The 17 Starry Eyes, you get these from Boots.
I can't find a link to these, but I know I only got it last year, so they should still be instore. I got mine on an offer with my boots advantage card. This seems to have a dark base and a dark silver/gray glitter. I love this for when I want full on sparkle, I also love that I don't need to put on a normal eyeliner first.

These are only 3 of the many glitter eyeliners out there on the market. These are amazing to add just that extra bit of sparkle to any look. I would recommend the collection one, as they are so inexpensive and they do last a long time. So you should all go and try them, I'm not sure if they are anything like the Urban Decay ones, since my UD ones are a bit too old for me to say they are dupes or not.

Have you got any glitter liner favourites, leave a comment to let me know which ones.

Until next time

Blog Haul #2

Hey Guys and Dolls,

I have been out again this week and picked a few things.
Firstly I picked up a few nail polishes from the George at Asda range. I picked up one of their normal range of polish, that costs £1.75 and I also grabbed one of their take on gel polish which was £3. I also picked up whilst in Asda a collection deluxe lipstick in the Red colour, I think I got it for around £2.50, I also picked up a George at Asda lipstick, I got a pink one, that cost £3.50.

Also that day I received a package of two Wet and Wild lipsticks from the states.I got 2 of the Matte lipsticks in an orange shade and a dark purple. In the same order I got a Lime Crime Pink Velvet Velvetine. I can't remember how much these were, but they are all gorgeous.

Then yesterday I decided to go into Tesco's for a little browse and pick my dad up a birthday card. But I got dragged into the make aisle. I got sucked into the 3 for 2 offer on Barbara Daly make up range that Tesco's do. I picked up a a gel eyeliner, that cost £4, a eyeshadow crayon in the colour bronze gold, for £3 (reduced from £7). I also picked up something called helping hands that was reduced to £3.50, I have no clue what I do with it but I shall learn.

I also recently bought the Garnier Miscellar Water, for £3.33, I look forward to using all of these products and there might be a few cheeky review coming your way.

Until next time guys.

Glossy Box Feb 2014

Hey Guys and Dolls,

This month's Glossybox, finally got here yesterday... and I think I loved it.
In this months box, I very luckily got 4 full sized products... Yes 4!! So this month is in complete contrast to last months box, where it was pretty much empty.

This month the box was on a theme of 'Be Mine' concentrating on the Valentines Day sort of theme. I can live with it as the box this month is black and has lots of lipstick kisses on the lid, very pretty!

Lets get on to the products I received this month.

The Nougat London, Sparkling body Shimmer (£14 for 250mls)

This was a very good sample size of 100 mls and comes in the scent cherry blossom, so this wont be a for people who don't like to put scented lotions on. This is very shimmery in the bottle, but whilst on the skin, it gives off a subtle shimmer. This would be lovely for a night out on the decolletage or legs.

Toni and Guy Hair Meets Wardrobe Stick It Up Gum (£7.20 for 90ml)
This is a full size product, aimed at shorter haired people. Which obviously isn't me, but I can give it to my brother to try it out, as he likes to spike his hair up. Although on the glossybox card it says it can be used to put your hair up. We shall see and I will update you all.

Ciate London Paint Pot (£9 13.5ml)
This is the product, we knew we were getting this month. But saying that I got very excited in what shade of paint pot I got. I got Red Hot Chilli, which is gorgeous orange toned red in the bottle. I have a feeling it will go on a lot more orange than red though, which is fine by me.

Maybelline New York Master Kajal Liner ( £5.99 for 13g)
I had been eyeing these up in Superdrug and Boots since Christmas time last year, when they got released. But they didn't seem to be anything special. But swatched this and its so pigmented that I had to scrub my hand.I can only hope that it is like that on the eyes.

Miners Cosmetics Cocktail Kiss ( £2.99 for 12ml)
This is nice as its full size but that is possibly the only positive I have about this. I do not really go for glosses and brown ones at that.

Lastly I got a Lindt Lindor Treat Bar ( 79p)
This was nice, not a massive fan of Lindt, but it was yummy.

Hope you enjoyed your boxes this month, let me know in the comments what you got.

Foodie Review: Pizza Express West End Edinburgh

Hey G&D,

Just a little post about another food Place. I feel like I've ate out a lot this week, even though it has only been twice properly.
Back to this review though.
I met up with my other half for some late Valentines dinner.

We decided to have dinner on Saturday night, we went to the Pizza Express in Edinburgh's West End. We went around 7pm and quick enough got a table for 2.

We got asked our drink order quickly, I got a coke and it came within minutes of ordering. I ordered Bruschetta then a 4 cheese pizza.
The Bruschetta I got was incredible. It was a huge chunk of garlic dough, covered with a tomato, red onion and garlic mix, that was then drizzled with pesto and a basil leaf to decorate.

I then got my 4 cheese pizza. This was a massive chore to eat. I do love cheese, but wow. I was defo cheesed out after eating this.

I also got polenta chips to share with my other half. These were served with a honey mustard dressing on the side to dip. These were amazing, but still get beaten with another little Italian in Edinburgh.

My Coffee came with a little heart design on the top. I got a Baileys Latte. This was yummy. Double expresso and baileys flavoured milk.

I somehow didn't manage to take a picture of my dessert which was a Chocolate fudge cake. Which wasn't very nice, much too rich after everything I had eaten. But here is a picture of Joe's Chocolate ice cream and fudge cake sundae.

The service wasn't the best in the restaurant, it was slow service and not very friendly. I wouldn't go back to that particular restaurant but there is a few different ones in Edinburgh luckily.

Hope you like these sort of posts. I'm sure there will be more of these sort of ones to come.
bye

Saturday Dinner Date FOTN

Hey Guys and Dolls,

Hope you are all having a fabulous Valentines Weekend. My lovely other half took me out last night for dinner.

So this is what I done to my face for going out for the dinner.

This was the final look, I came up with.

I used my usual face products of Fashionista Vanishing cream primer, Rimmel match perfection foundation and the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I finished my base with a light dusting of MUA pressed powder. I also used Benefit Hoola Bronzer and the glossybox glossy rosewood blusher.

On my eyes I used Urban Decay primer potion to prime my eyes and the patted on Concretes Smut eye mineral shadow and on the outer corner I used Doe-eyed by Concrete too, Review here. I lined my eyes with Be a Bombshell and Soap and Glory smoulder Kohl, then finished with lashings of Maybelline Smokey eyes mascara. My eyebrows I done with the new PS.Love brow pencil in light, I got this in a recent primark trip.

I finished the look with one of my favourite lipsticks Urban Decay Catfight. I did mix some of a lighter pink lipstick, to give it more of a romantic colour.

Hope you all like this look.

Who needs Valentines

Hey Guys and Dolls,

As social media has been full of gushy, over the top valentines day status's and such like.
I thought I would do a little anti valentines day post.
Surely a girl/guy should be able to show the person they love them in the same way as you do on Valentines Day. I don't get why everyone gets so wrapped up in Valentines Day. Yes I am currently taken, but I also pretty much got my other half a joke card as a gift. I'm not cynical or into romance for that matter.
Yes I like the feeling of being in love, but I also love the freedom, that everyday is a new page to write on and make memories.

Why should love be constricted to one day a year. Surely if you love someone unconditionally, then you prove that to them everyday? If you wanna buy your other half flowers for no reason then do so. It shouldn't be confined to February 14th. I spent the most of the day with my other half and my nephew, we had lunch and watched kids films. He then left so he could do a gig with his band.

I spent the evening with my family of boys and even got the midnight cuddles from my nephew. I got a chocolate heart and a card from my nephew. Lets be honest, why would I ever need any other boy to love me as long as he does. His love his is the purest of love that you could get from anyone. It also goes to show, that you do not need a boyfriend or girlfriend to show you the best kind of love.
So don't beat yourself up if you didn't get any presents or cards yesterday, they are just things that the heart doesn't need or necessarily want. As long as you have the love from someone, whether it be a cat, dog, family, friends or spouse. All you need to know is there is someone in the world that loves you each and everyday and doesn't need Valentines Day to prove it.

Love
