Saturday Dinner Date FOTN

Hey Guys and Dolls,

Hope you are all having a fabulous Valentines Weekend. My lovely other half took me out last night for dinner.

So this is what I done to my face for going out for the dinner.

This was the final look, I came up with.

I used my usual face products of Fashionista Vanishing cream primer, Rimmel match perfection foundation and the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I finished my base with a light dusting of MUA pressed powder. I also used Benefit Hoola Bronzer and the glossybox glossy rosewood blusher.

On my eyes I used Urban Decay primer potion to prime my eyes and the patted on Concretes Smut eye mineral shadow and on the outer corner I used Doe-eyed by Concrete too, Review here. I lined my eyes with Be a Bombshell and Soap and Glory smoulder Kohl, then finished with lashings of Maybelline Smokey eyes mascara. My eyebrows I done with the new PS.Love brow pencil in light, I got this in a recent primark trip.

I finished the look with one of my favourite lipsticks Urban Decay Catfight. I did mix some of a lighter pink lipstick, to give it more of a romantic colour.

Hope you all like this look.

Concrete Minerals Eyeshadows

Hey Guys and Dolls,

I got some beautiful eye shadows for Christmas from my friend Lauren. This is just a quick review on them.

I got 4 colours of the shadows.

The Low Down
Concrete Minerals are preservative free, they don't use parabens and fillers. They are 100% vegan and cruelty free and made in USA.
They are sold on cutecosmetics in the UK and cost £6 for 1.5gms.

They have two ranges out, ones that are matte and shimmer ones. I have 4 colours from the shimmer range. I have SmutX's and O'sVanity and Doe Eyed
lt-rght  Smut, Doe eye, Vanity, X's&O's

My favourite of the bunch is X's and O's as it's so different from what I'm used to wearing. Although for every night out I have had since Christmas I have worn it.
The Colours swatched on my hands.

Would I buy it again?
Yes I would happily buy more of these beauties. They work beautifully and last a long time with and without a primer being used.
I do want the stack of black toned one that they have also on cutecosmetics. I will I have post some eye looks on my instagram using these eyeshadows. Check them out on Cheekie_maz on instagram.

5 January Favourites

Hey Guys and Dolls,

This is just a quick post on some of the products I have been loving this month.

Soap and Glory Eyeliners
I managed to pick up a set of the eyeliner sets that boots where doing for Christmas.
The set has a black, brown, purple, green and blue liners (there will be a post up soon about them :)) These are the most creamy eyeliners I have EVER tested that are on the high street. I know in the permanent line you can get the black and brown liners.

Concrete Minerals eyeshadow in X's and O's
This was a gift I got for Christmas off of my friend Lauren and I absolutely love this colour. Its a magenta purple with silver sparkle, that looks amazing against my blue eyes.

Maybelline The Volum' Express Colossal Smokey Mascara
I love this mascara. It gives me prefect lashes every time. Since the last mascara that I loved was £18 i decided to give this one a go, since I got it in my December Glossybox. It was really good and I'm highly impressed with it.

Sleek Matte Me in Fandango Purple
I love wearing matte lips everyday and this is just the most perfect fuchsia purple to wear with a thin black eyeliner look. I do have an in depth post coming soon on them.

Real Techniques Expert face brush
I bought this in a blog sale, as I was dubious on how good these actually were. I have bought a few cheaper alternatives before I seen it on the blog sale for £5. So I snapped it up and I'm definitely in love with it.

What have you dolls been loving this month?
