Ive been meaning to do this post all weekend, but just not had the time and I felt a little under the weather.
So I've been using the Vichy Dermablend foundation stick since I got the starter kit in the June Glossy Box, which when i looked online it cost around £5 for the starter kit. Even though I don't have many blemishes, so I just used it to conceal dark circles.
So to get a proper scale of how well this product works, I asked my friend Lauren, who has some red pigmentation on her cheeks, if I could do the review based on the results she got when i done her make up.
Lauren, just before her flawless make over |
As you can see from the picture on the left hand side. My lovely model, Lauren for this product has a lot of redness to her cheeks, and it doest matter what she does, she cant get rid of it fully, even the full cover foundations don't cover it fully without some green concealer to counteract the redness.
halfway through the transformation. the final look. |
First of all, I prepped (cleansed and moisturised) Laurens skin, then i started to massage the Vichy Dermablend into her skin, i used the colour the porcelain. It has a creamy consistency of a stick concealer. But it blends out amazingly well. I then used some powder to set it.
I then added some colour to Laurens face by adding a pinky blusher to the apples of her cheeks and some bronzer, to give her the healthy glow.
My overall opinion on this product is that i love it. It gets rid of a multitude of blemishes and it is strong enough to cover a tattoo. The stick itself is around £20 from Boots.com and various other places online. Its amazing at what it does and I think that because you can use it to camouflage everything, its well worth the money. It will give anyone who is shy because of their skin confidence. Feel free to follow my lovely model Lauren on Twitter.com/laurenm26
