After pledging about a month ago to the lovely Scottish band Yashin, to go to an exclusive meet and greet and acoustic set. The day finally came, but due to other circumstances the guys had to put both the album playback and meet and greet and the acoustic set plus meet and greet together. Which was an awesome idea.
Myself and my friend Tian went to the Cathouse in Glasgow, not entirely sure what to expect. We had both pledged for the acoustic set and the meet and greet.
The night started off with the playback of Yashin's new album due to be released on the 25th of June. Which was full of incredible lyrics and catchy sounds. A must have album!! I will most definitely have numerous copies of.
Then the lads, fronted by Harry Radford and Kevin Miles, took to the stage to sing around 7 songs. Harry also sang a cover of sterophonics Dakota and the boy can sing. Another change from their usual stage presence Kevin sang the songs rather than his normal screamo. Which I did enjoy.
During the set the boys took some questions from the crowd that was about 50 people strong. I was expecting more people to be there.
After the set the boys took to signing and taking pictures with the fans. They spent around an hour doing this.
I have got pictures with most of the boys.
It was a great night that has been a highlight of my year so far. A night that will be remembered for a very long time! Everyone should go and pledge to the Yashin's pledge page, www.pledgemusic.com/projects/Yashin you can even pledge just £8 and it preorders the new album 'We created a monsters' or you can get some exclusive merchandise or buy the clothes both Harry and Kevin wore in the new video.
Thanks for the great night, Harry, Kevin, Dave, Paul, Andy and Lewis. It was worth every penny and possibly more :)
