December 2013 Update!!

Hey there people,

It's been a long time, since I have posted a blog. I have checked my last post was, waaaay back in August. Where has the time went?

Its already nearly Christmas and New year, eeeek....
This year has went super quick, I don't really have any explanation as to why I think that. But 2013 has went in a flash.
I always seem to come back to the blogosphere with a update post, then never seem to post much else.

But I do have a few free hours and I'm hopefully going to be able to get a few posts done that I have been meaning to write for a little while.

First the updates...

  • I went to my nephews first school Nativity play today, it was a tad emosh!! Still can not believe he is at school!! Where a my mini monster went?
  • I'm back looking for work, but I have decided I'm going back to college in August and would love to be either a teaching assistant or nursery nurse.
  • I'm excited for the future, I haven't been for a while as I got lost in my own thoughts and doubts. But as its nearly a new year, I thought its time to change how I view myself.
  • I have spent a lovely 8 months with my boyfriend and its still going well, my nephew adores him.
I'm going to leave this post here and hopefully I can get at least two of the posts I want done.

I hope you all a wonderful holiday....

August 2013 Update

Hey there guys..
This month has went past so so quickly, so I thought I might give you all a little update, since Ive not been able to keep to any sort of schedule at all this month/ recently.

My life has been extremely hectic, Ive been busy doing

  • working 40 hours a week and my body disagreeing with it and falling asleep at around 8:30 at night.
  • Celebrating my 4 month anniversary with my boy, doesn't seem long, but he has seriously changed my life for the better in such a short time.
  • My little honey monster turned 5 and started school. I really don't know where the time has went. I still remember getting the 5am phone call saying my brothers girlfriend has went into labour.

  • I lived a teenage dream and seen Fall Out Boy live!!

Think thats about it, but August has defo came and went way to quickly for my liking. But now on to pastures new and I'm on the jobhunt again, because of reasons I can not explain now but I'm sure I will be able to in a couple of weeks.

This is a rather short post but there will defo be some more posts this week as I have a few spare hours in the mornings so will hopefully get some posts done! They will defo be about beauty and maybe a little blog post about Fall Out Boy!!

Cya later in the week peeps!

Glossybox July 2013

Hey my lovelies.

Sorry for not keeping up with my blogging in a consistent manner... But gotta keep doing other things rather than being behind the laptop with every free hour I have.

But I do have a few blog posts that I want to start doing regularly. Although getting a weekly post is hard enough. But I shall try my best to squeeze in a lil post when I can. So on to the true meaning of this blog.

GlossyBox!!!

I have just received my July Glossybox and its a beauty!!!
Recently I haven't been particularly happy with the products I've been receiving, but I have persevered with it and stuck it out.

Glossybox have started to do themes with their boxes and this months theme is Seaside Splash. The box is coordinating with the theme and is a lovely blue colour with coral starfish and coral. Very beautiful if you are into bright colours.

On to the fun part... Products are amazing this month!! Box is fully worth the £12.95.

The products I received were (saving my favourites till last!!)

Coola Organic suncare collection

A little sample of face sunscreen, smells of cucumber with an SPF of 30. Sample size is 7Ml, an eighth of the full size.
Full size £25.99 sample size £3.20

Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me
Full size product, of hydrating face mist. I'm not a lover of face mists, but I will try it and if I like it, there might be a cheeky review.
full size £6

Alterna haircare- Bamboo boho waves tousled texture mist.
Texturising hair mist to give the beachy waves look. Not a massive fan of these type of hair products, but it fits into this months theme and i never know i may end up loving this.
full size 125ml £23 sample size 25ml £4.60

Ciate London Paint Pot in Speed Dial.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. Its an amazing orange with a red tone to it. looks amazing on my pale skin tone, this would also suit people with a tan or darker skin tones. This is a FULL SIZE product. When I get a few days off of work altogether I will be reaching for this and give it a proper review!
Full size 13.5ml £9

Sleek Pout Paint Pin up (red) Peek-a-bloo (blue)
These are fricking amazing!!! I already have both of these in my collection already. But I love them!! I love the retro pin up look and the red is amazing for the red lips. The blue colour is to mix with the other shades in the range to create unique colours. These are a bit like the OCC Lip Tars ( which i haven't tried yet) These are a little bit fiddly to get used too and a little goes a long way. Both of these are full size at 8ml.
Full size 8ml £4.99

This box is absolutely worth its money and has amazing long lasting products in it.

Total worth of July's Box is £32.78..... WOW!!

Bye guys!!

Quick Nearly Quarterly update!! #1

Hey Guys,

Sorry I haven't been writing many posts in the past few months, I keep saying I'm going to blog and have a fair few posts that i want to write. But time eludes me.

Although in the time that has passed a fair few things have happened and have changed my lifestyle, kinda :P

I have a new job, which has me on my feet most days for 7-8 hours at a time. I work with some awesome girls, which really do make working for the company a joy. Although it does make me shattered all the time. But its mainly enjoyable. Its money after all.

I have been going out an insane amount of times, not as a bad as every night of the week, but enough to keep me tired for days on end.
There has been fall outs and make ups, even something that can not for the life of me be reconciled as its just too damn confusing.

I have also got a new tattoo, as I always seem to get one, when things in my life are good and I'm happy. Obviously I do have more to tell you guys but some things have to stay quiet just now as its new and exciting. But it has definitely helped towards my changed outlook on life.

Hmmmm.. what else has happened since I last blogged in like Feb. I would love to say I have a new make collection to blog about and been to loads of gigs and done so many more interesting things... But I cant life just got crazy with working and going out with friends and doing loads of normal fun things for a 22 year old.

any way enough of my spraffing.. time to get on with the proper blogging.

Random posting of updating life!!!!i

So guys,

I know, Ive not been blogging as much recently, but i suppose you'll find out why, after reading this post....

My life over the past four months has been pretty hectic, just by doing a lot of stuff away from the keyboard and working.

But at the same time, I really haven't felt a lot like me recently. I've been far too busy with being sociable and being on loads of crazy nights out. But its time to air out the crap and stress and become like me again. I'm not sure where to really begin all this from tho.

About a month ago, I got made redundant, which obviously sucked big time... Ive been out of work a month and hate it with a passion. I do now have a job lined up, so I'm hoping it works out. But the old bosses are being right twats about getting references and stuff I need. They also underpaid me and then made out it was my fault. So I've been going out lots to compensate for the stress.... bad I know. My skin and general well being are feeling it a bit now.

I do have the best mates in the world tho, who have happily helped me out a lot more than they will ever know, when Ive been in one of my moods.

I also met this utter waste of space of a guy... which will probably become another post soon as i need new dating rules and just general confidence boosters. Any help would be appreciated.

Suppose this is a random post that wont get looked at much but at least I have got this off my chest!!

I need start believing in myself and know I'm worth a lot more than how Ive been the past few months.... Time to enjoy my last few months of being 22!!
Remember guys you are all worth it and never let people say you aren't!!!
Bye for now

Glossy Box January Edition Review

Its time of month again when the Glossybox Review gets put up.

This months theme was Detox, this excited me as I thought of all the different sort of detox things you could get for your skin, hair and nails.

The products I received are:

ECO-BOUTIQUE body lotion with aloe vera and green tea
This has a nice smell to it and I'm sure as its organic it would be good for my skin. But I'm getting a bit bored of receiving body lotions. Full size £8.50 for a set of 6

MONU Micro Exfolioant
I'm excited to use this, as I love the Dermologica one. Although this one is slightly different as this is a creamy based one. Full size £14.50

BM BEAUTY Dewy Perfection Finishing Powder
This is a tiny pot of powder, I'm a bit confused at how I'm going to get a powder brush into the tub. I will review it though once I have tried to use it. Full size £8

MURAD Hydrodynamic Ultimate Moisture For Eyes
To make this short, this is a small pot of very expensive eye cream. Myself personally, I don't use a eye cream, as it messes up my makeup and it all smudges. Full size is £57

SANCTUARY SPA Active Reverse Thermal Transformation Mask
This is a two step mask that heats up and it helps reduce wrinkles and plump skin. This is for older skin, but I will give it a bash and see how I get on with it. Full size £27.50

We also got a glossybox eye mask, which is nice. I love that Glossybox have started to add in things of their own branding.

I will try everything in this box, but I'm not sure I will get on well with most of them. But open mind and let the testing begin!

Pictures to follow

Birchbox January 2013 Edition

As most beauty enthusiasts know, Birchbox has officially launched in the UK this month. As they team up with Joliebox.
Me being my usual curious self and ordered myself a box.
I must admit, I sometimes don't really work myself up to get excited about the beauty boxes.

But anyway on to the box... It came very unexpectedly  as I didn't even get an email saying it was shipped.
Although saying that it was a nice surprise to come home too, after a busy day of work and babysitting.

The bright pink packaging definitely brightened my day up. Then came the excitement of holding the first ever birchbox to come to the UK. Its still the usual set up of a Jolie Box with there being 4-5 samples in the box.

So lets get into what was in the box:

Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment
This is the slightly tinted lip balm that all the beauty gurus seem to be loving when they go to America. So I was very excited to see a sample of this in my box. It has a built in SPF15 and it keeps lips soft and supple in these winter months we are enduring. Full size £15.50

KMS California  Free Shape quick blow dry
This is a dual-phase mist, that detangles your hair and quickens the time it takes to dry your hair. I'm excited to use this as my hair isn't in the best condition so anything to give it a boost of some sort is a winner in my books. full size £13.50

Reverence De Bastien Unguent for nail and cuticles
This is a brand I've never came across or have any clue what this does. But on the card it says its full of vitamins and is meant to keep nails strong and healthy. Full size £15.50

WEI  Royal ming firming and hydrating cream
I'm not the biggest fan of WEI products after I suffered a bad break out and red blotchy skin for a few days, after I used one of their face masks. I'm not excited by this product at all and very wary to use it. This also isn't really catered to my skin type or needs. full size £74

This month we got a lifestyle extra of a Teapigs chamomile teabag.... not my favourite type of tea, but I'm sure I will use it to try out teapigs tea. Had a look on their website and I may have to buy myself some of their Chai Tea teabags.

For a first box I am most definitely impressed with the products in there. It has a full range of products not just based on one part of beauty (skincare, make up ect). I'm looking forward to testing these products and maybe do a review on some of them.

Pictures to be added later as my camera and laptop don't seem to want to sync together tonight.
